Community meals for all

Dear community,

We are the Fenton Community Organisers (FCO), a group of like minded people who give our time volunteering to help people with multiple disadvantages.

As a group, our aim is to secure local authority funding to expand and provide community meals, free for rough sleepers, at 6 community venues across the city (Stoke On Trent)

We have identified that rough sleepers do not always have the facilities and the means to access means; food bank parcels are not always appropriate and lack the social aspect of a community meal.

Venues providing community meals cannot always afford to offer free meals to rough sleepers due to rising food costs and fuel.

We also want the council to commit to making it easier for community venues to access funding. By doing this, we expect to reduce the overall use of food parcels, sustain community meals and strengthen community by bringing people together

Please show your support by signing below to help us reach our goal

Many thanks, the FCO
