100 Days of Activity, 100 Years of Salford

Little Hulton and Salford City's histories are intertwined. From Hankey Park to Old Lane, the streets which connect these two places saw a huge migration of people, Salfordians, and now Little Hulton is part of Salford and Salford City celebrates it's centenary!

To commemorate this occasion, VCSFE groups, statutory groups, individual artists, local businesses and anyone with a special connection to the area of Little Hulton are invited to take part in our 100 days of consecutive activity calendar, from January 11th to April 21st, finishing on World Creativity Day.

That means at least 1 free activity per day at different spaces around Little Hulton for 100 consecutive days.

Please consider supporting this ambitious project by (1) signing this letter to confirm that you would like to run an activity for this initiative, (2) considering sponsoring this initiative to provide funding to groups to run their activities, and (3) sharing this open letter with groups you know who would be interested in running activities, the more the merrier!

This is a project coordinated by Stewart Knights, as part of his work with Salford CVS and CommUNITY Little Hulton. If you would like more information about how to get involved, sponsorship, or any other information, please email [email protected]. Thank you!
