An Open Letter to Dia Art Foundation Leadership

We, the employees of Dia Art Foundation, collectively urge the organization to take a stand on critical global issues that resonate deeply within our community and beyond.

Firstly, we appeal to Dia Art Foundation to issue a public statement acknowledging the ongoing humanitarian crisis, violence against civilians, and the large-scale displacement of Palestinians. The gravity of the situation demands a clear and unequivocal stance from us as an institution committed to art and humanity. We call for Dia to use its platform to advocate for an immediate ceasefire and promote dialogue towards a just and lasting peace.

Secondly, we advocate for Dia Art Foundation to adopt a policy of transparency regarding its investments and assets. As employees deeply invested in the values and mission of Dia, we believe that regular quarterly disclosures of financial holdings will enhance trust and accountability within our community. Transparency not only aligns with our organizational values but also fosters a culture of openness and integrity.

We believe that by taking these actions, Dia Art Foundation can uphold its commitment to ethical practices and social responsibility, reflecting the values that define us as an institution dedicated to artistic excellence and societal impact.

Thank you for considering our collective voice on these important matters.
