To My Young Compatriots Ali, Kigenza, Rusagara, and GM, I want to emphasize the importance of courage in our journey.
We must always remember that the power to create and sustain change lies within us, the people of Rwanda. As we discussed, breaking free from mental slavery requires each Rwandan to wholeheartedly embrace the ten core beliefs and practices below:
In 1963, the great Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. inspired us with his words: "I say to you today, my friends, even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream." I dream that Rwanda will one day become a nation where its people will not be judged by their tribal labels but by the content of their character. Let's work together to make this dream a reality.
I have a dream today.
Blessings to us all,
David Himbara
